{Snapped} In Black

This is the reason I started this new mini segment called Snapped. I was watching her for quite some time and then I just grabbed my camera and well, snapped the picture. After that I was running around like a mad woman photographing everything.

Street Style: Latina at NYFW

I loved being able to photograph fashionable Latinas at New York Fashion Week. I also loved waking up a few days later to see my work featured on the digital version of Latina Magazine. I am honored and blessed to have such amazing opportunities. Check out the feature HERE.

Viva La Fleur by Juicy Couture parked their little bike right outside of Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week. How pretty right? I was tempted to hop on and petal away but I'm too cute for jail. Happy Tuesday everyone.

I know. I don't post on Mondays but this is special. Thanks to the NCLR and GM, I was able to head out to Pasadena for the 2012 Alma Awards. The rush of Latin pride poured over me as A List Latino celebrities discussed their accomplishments and as if on repeat let us know that [we] are the future as the fastest growing minority group in the US. It was an amazing experience and one that I will not forget. Be sure to tune in on Friday September 21st at 8PM EST to see what I saw. To those who do not speak Spanish, no biggie. It is in English and has some pretty interesting guests. Cue Jack Gyllenhaal, you're welcome.

{Snapped} 5th & Jane

While in NYC I was able to do a few things I would normally never do like go up to complete strangers and ask to take their photo. I'm no street style photographer but I did enjoy getting a few snaps of inspiration all of my own. I'll be sharing those here soon in a new mini series called Snapped but first let me introduce you to 5th & Jane, a popular style blog based in NYC. Because running around in heels for work during Fashion Week killed me, I decided to drop into Payless for some good old fashion kicks. At the end of the day, my personal style was and always will be casual. This was the perfect look for a relaxing birthday dinner in Chelsea for my dear friend Sara.

FNO in NYC

So I went to NYC for my first ever Fashion Week and by week, I meant two days. I know it wasn't much but it was enough to drain my bank account during FNO, give me a nasty cold virus and give me all the crazy inspiration I need for next season. Yes, I'm itching for Spring again. I know, I just cannot make up my mind! Here are a few pics from FNO in NYC.
