Tastebuds
Let me start by saying I am not a fan of kale, at all. In fact, I am not a vegi person either but I am trying new things and trying to be healthy, for once. Knowing all the health benefits that kale has (check them here), I was eager to find a way to put it in my diet. This breakfast smoothie was a great option.
Green Love
3 punch fulls of kale
2/3 cup frozen mangoes
1 cup of OJ
1/2 cup of pineapple chunks w/ juice
Makes 2 servings. Save one for the next morning!
Let's just say I was full until lunch time and a small plate of edamame to fill me up. I know I'm thin as it is but I'm also the girl who can finish a whole pizza solo and is out of breath from walking to the corner. This had my energy levels up and I felt great all day.
XOXO

ReplyDeleteThanks Chicas!
ReplyDelete@Danielle...the one thing I did not mention was how yummy it was. Today I ran out of pineapples so I replaced that with a banana. It was delish...I like it with pineapples better but that is just b/c I have a sweet tooth. ;)
This is embarrasing, but I'm not completely sure what kale is, we don't have it in my country, but I'd love to try it some day! x
