Seasons change and plans do as well. With a new home, new plans and new ideas, I have been thinking a lot about the direction of my own career to make more time to enjoy the simple things in life. The love and laughter that my family brings. I've worked hard as a stylist, working on photo shoots and shopping trips but I find the mother's guilt to be stronger than the satisfaction from work. I'm taking time to reflect and find a way to make it work for my happiness, his and hers. Today, I am taking the day to plan her 3rd birthday, plan out my "home remodel" for the week, spending time with my dad who is in town until Sunday and just being mom.
