My Kid has Style {Personal Style + Kid Style}
jacket: Guess | dress: BB Dakota via TJ Maxx | leggings: Target (on sale now $5) | shoes: Prada
I had no clue what to wear on Thanksgiving. I knew leggings would be a great choice since I love to eat but the way I had been feeling the last few days prior to, I knew I wouldn't eat much. In fact, I decided on my outfit at the last minute since the outfit planning when into high gear just the day before and the only person I was worried about was the cutie pictured below.
I found this corduroy skirt for $4.50, the top and tights for $5 and her shoes we bought earlier on in the season all from her favorite place to shop...Target. I actually spent quite a bit more but I basically cleared the clearance rack of all 3T and 4T, I just love their kid's fashions.
Disclaimer: Ignore the poster on the floor, it should have been hung by my husband but he gets too busy laying on the couch to actually hang ANY artwork in our new place. Also, our camera is still ugh so for now, iPad pics will have to do.
UPDATE: My husband has since hung this poster up and all artwork that I had found room for. Then he went back to the couch. ;)

Holiday Gift Guide: Spa Gifts
Maybe it is the desire for some much needed "me" time or the fact that my new soaker tub just keeps calling my name but nothing is sweeter to a busy woman than a free day and spa luxuries. I always say a great gift is one you usually wouldn't buy for yourself but you would love to have like the Caviar Body Scrub from Balenciaga. Here is (a very bias) holiday gift guide for the tired, the weary and the....oh who am I kidding...ME!

Hey you! Thanks
I'm thankful for the direction my life is heading, the flexibility my work has given me to watch my daughter grow, the comforts my husband has given us and the love that grows here. It is the day before Thanksgiving and I am logging off. I have a few runs I need to do and very little time to do it. I also plan on snuggling with my little one to watch The Princess and the Frog before calling it a night. I'll see you all next Tuesday.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Best Holiday Sets from Laura Mercier
Go ahead, call me bias (since I freelance for Laura Mercier) but they have always had the best holiday gift sets and here is why.
Who doesn't love a luxurious candle? Why not four of the best scented candles on the market? For the price point, you can give it as a gift and pick up an extra for a hostess gift down the road.
Who doesn't like a neutral lip and who doesn't enjoy a quality lipgloss? 'Nuff said.
Great for smudging on a smokey eye on the go. Also great for every eye color as it has every shade. No guessing which one she would like or not like because the are all there. Simple.
That price is unbeatable so do yourself a favor and get one for yourself or you will regret it later.
Next Tuesday, let's talk spa gifts.

Budget Buys
So I'm back onto focusing on my budget and refocusing that money towards my tailor. I've been remixing existing pieces in my closet and only buying if the sale is unbeatable. Guess who couldn't pass up these items at Target yesterday. Total sale $11.36 for a pair of flats and a pair of pants. Yay me!

A Home for Cologne
Finally, we have moved into the new place. Now it is time to make it feel like ours. We started by buying a new bed that I plan on sharing soon, new bedding and a new dining room table. Our bathroom is also in the works. We have a great soaker tub that was used 4 nights straight already and a lot of space. My husband does want to use the space to display his never-ending collection of cologne and my two perfumes by using a tray. Yes, I only have two and he has a million. I thought it was a wonderful idea but now we cannot seem to agree on an actual tray. Here are MY ideas on what this tray should look like.
Three very different trays. I know. The first is because I really love the texture and the color but I can see my husband giving it a big ole' no. The second I know he would like but for some reason he wants etched metal so I threw in the last one for desperate measures. The sale price ends with an 8 so I know it will go down more. Mind you our shower curtain is brown...elegant but dark so come on home decor enthusiasts, help a girl out. Which one do you like?

And The Winner is...
So earlier on this Fall season on teamed up with Liz Claiborne and JcPenny to outfit a very special event, my daughter's 3rd birthday. I picked two outfits and let you chose my look. And here it is...
I know. This doesn't look like Analiese's birthday party. This is me, in my "work nook" in our new place. Unfortunately, due to heartbreaking circumstances, my camera decided not to play nice. I am STILL trying to recover those images. As a mom that is what is most important but c'est la vie. I've recreated my look just for you. By the way and do not judge, I haven't taken this top off much these past few weeks. Seriously, I wear it so often that I bought a second shirt just so when this one hits the fritz from excessive wearing then I have a back up. This is officially my go to outfit, I feel comfortable, classic, chic and oh so me. What outfit makes you feel the most confident?
